Earn 4.25 Qantas points per dollar spent at JB Hi-Fi for free
When collecting frequent flyer points, large multipliers on the number of points per dollar spent are generally limited to credit cards with high annual fees. A surprising free alternative to this is the Qantas Pay account combined with purchases on the Qantas Marketplace.
First, simply sign up for a free Qantas Pay account. At the time of writing this account has no account keeping fees and provides you with a debit card. One of the benefits of this card is earning 0.25 points per dollar spent on regular transactions, with a bonus 1 point per dollar on Qantas transactions. This means that by using this card you can earn 1.25 points per dollar spent on the Qantas Marketplace store.

Why is that important? On the Qantas Marketplace store you can buy gift cards (both digital and physical) for a variety of retailers and generally earn a minimum of 3 points per dollar.
This includes retailers like JB Hi-Fi where you can buy a gift card on the Qantas Marketplace with your Qantas Pay card and earn 4.25 points per dollar spent on that transaction!
